New Mobility

How to master the turning point of tomorrow's mobility?
With us, quite easily.

Tomorrow’s mobility should be safer, more efficient, more comfortable and climate-neutral for everyone - whether in the inner city or in rural peripheral areas. However, the development of vehicles that meet these requirements faces a multitude of technical, logistical and economic challenges.

Our key to success lies in the fact that we offer our engineering solutions in a flexible and demand-oriented manner. In cooperation with traditional OEMs and suppliers as well as with new entrants, we always find the optimal way to turn ambitious ideas and innovations into reality faster and to meet the future demands of mobility. A high degree of creativity, meticulous care as well as many years of experience and in-depth expertise in crucial engineering disciplines ensure that the solutions developed together are forward-looking and reliable.

We use our extensive expertise in the application of key technologies such as composites, structural simulation and bonding technology to master the challenges of tomorrow’s mobility. Our multifaceted wealth of experience from a wide range of industries always allows us to take a fresh look at problems - even with unconventional solutions, we will get you safely to your goal.

Innovative lightweight solutions – on water, on land, and in the air.

Urban aviation

Increasing efficiency and safety of eVTOLs

1

Development of fairing parts

Aerodynamic components often have to follow complex shapes and at the same time be very light and stiff to ensure the best possible flight characteristics and efficiency. The application of composites is the key here. With our expertise in composite lightweight design, we support you in the development and production of weight- and cost-optimised composite components.

2

Development of structural components

Due to the heavy battery systems, eVTOLs in particular must follow a high degree of lightweight design in the supporting structure. In order to nevertheless guarantee sufficient structural stiffness and safety, precisely designed constructions using high-performance materials such as fibre composites are required. We develop light, safe and weight-optimised structural components for you.

3

Integration of Battery Systems

The integration of battery systems is a demanding task in the development of innovative eVTOLs. We support you in the safe integration of your battery systems into your system while complying with all relevant manufacturing, strength, fire protection & thermal management requirements.

Urban road transport

Sustainable urban mobility of tomorrow through the use of innovative fiber composite materials.

1

Development of fairing parts

In mobility on the road and in cities, the exterior is particularly important in terms of aesthetics. Fibre-reinforced composites allow almost limitless shaping of exterior components with economical manufacturing options. With our expertise in lightweight composite construction, we support you in the development and production of composite components that meet Class A requirements.

2

Body & chassis development

Innovative structural concepts for vehicles in urban traffic must allow for maximum installation space without sacrificing safety. High demands on the rigidity, crash safety and weight of the vehicle body often pose a particular challenge - this is not only the case in the conventional vehicle construction of the major OEMs, but also applies to the urban mobiles of tomorrow. With digital engineering, in-depth lightweight construction expertise and many years of experience in the development of high-performance composite components for automotive customers, we are your partner for mastering this challenge.

3

Integration of Battery Systems

The integration of battery systems is a demanding task in the development of new vehicles - both for passenger and goods transport. We support you in the safe integration of your battery systems into the vehicle structure while complying with all relevant manufacturing, strength, fire protection & thermal management requirements.

Water Mobility

Innovative use of lightweight materials and hydrofoil technology for more efficient watercraft.

1

Development of hull & foil systems

River and coastal ferries are the pioneers in the development and testing of innovative and sustainable boat and ship concepts. The use of electric drives is also highly attractive on water. In order to ensure sufficient power and capacity of the drives, maximum lightweight construction is required to enable maximum capacity of the heavy battery systems. Our expertise in composite lightweight construction as well as hydrofoil technology ensures highly efficient drive concepts that are optimised for the driving profile of your watercraft.

2

Production planning & support

For the production of light boats and small to medium-sized vessels, fibre composite construction is the standard. With our experience in the production-oriented development of composite structures in ship and boat building, we ensure that hulls, decks, superstructures and attachments are produced to the highest quality standards and with maximum economy.

3

Certification

We help you in the certification of new boats and ships so that your product can go to market on schedule and without obstacles. Through many years of experience in working with classification societies such as DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s Register or IMCI, we know exactly what is important in the approval process.
